Job Description Job Description Day in the Life Based at our St. Louis, MO facility, you start your shift by reviewing the day’s build plan, confirming parts, and studying specifications, blueprints, and 2D drawings. You’ll move from station to station, using hand tools, power tools, and production machinery to bring heavy industrial equipment from component to completed assembly. Along the way, you’ll verify fit and function, record what you’ve built, and partner with teammates to resolve any snags before the product moves to the next step. What You’ll Do Build heavy industrial equipment precisely to specifications, blueprints, and two-dimensional technical drawings. Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery safely and effectively. Perform in-process and final checks to confirm safety and performance standards are met. Work closely with coworkers to troubleshoot issues and optimize assembly flow. Keep your area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices. Document assembly steps and promptly report discrepancies to supervisors. Participate in training to expand knowledge of assembly methods and tools. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Hands-on experience in heavy industrial assembly or a closely related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Comfort using common hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
