Job Description:
Bunzl is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer
2026, supporting a high-visibility project focused on packaging,
sustainability, and regulatory compliance. This internship is
designed for students who are curious about how marketing extends
beyond campaigns—and into responsible, accurate, and compliant
communication. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll partner closely with
professionals across Marketing, Sustainability, Sourcing, and
Legal, gaining hands-on experience in how real-world packaging
decisions are made. You’ll contribute meaningfully to a project
tied to evolving recycling legislation while building skills that
translate directly into future marketing, sustainability, or
business roles. Target start date: Early June 2026
Responsibilities: This role is intentionally designed to provide
real responsibility—not just observation. You will: Support a
review of existing packaging to evaluate recycling symbols,
sustainability claims, and labeling practices Help document
findings and identify gaps or areas that may require updates based
on new or proposed legislation Partner with teams across Marketing,
Sourcing, Sustainability, and Legal to gather inputs and clarify
requirements Organize and track project materials, decisions, and
supporting documentation Participate in cross-functional meetings
to understand how teams balance compliance, brand standards, and
operational needs Communicate progress, questions, and insights
clearly and professionally Contribute to recommendations that
support accurate, compliant, and consistent packaging communication
Requirements: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing,
Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Communications,
Packaging Science, or a related field Strong interest in how
marketing, sustainability, and regulatory requirements intersect
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence
asking thoughtful questions Strong attention to detail and
critical-thinking skills Highly organized and comfortable
supporting structured project work Ability to collaborate
effectively with multiple stakeholders in a professional
