your future with us.The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is
seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join our
team in Berkeley, MO. In this team, a design engineer has the
primary responsibility for the synthesis of requirements, creation
of engineering definition, 3D models, 2D drawings, and model-based
definition that define the mechanical hardware required to install
a flight test data system. Flight test hardware is frequently
located throughout the aircraft giving an employee a chance to get
familiar with different areas of the platform. Design Build
designers work the entire design cycle including support of
requirement definition, layouts, coordination with electrical
designers, preliminary design review, engineering release,
coordination with manufacturing engineers and suppliers, occasional
shipside support, and change incorporation.BT&E is currently
hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level
and Associate level Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis
Engineers.Position Responsibilities Include:
- Support the development and documentation of mechanical and
fluid system and thermal environment
- Support the development, maintenance or modification of system
designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level
requirements to downstream users/customers
- Perform limited detail design development and modification of
mechanical and fluid system installations
- Support team in performing spatial integration at system or
component level and modification of mechanisms/landing
gear/ordinance systems
- Assist in preparing technical documents for mechanical
components and systems
- Assist in supporting proposal preparation and new business
development efforts
- Work under close supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling
- Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office

- 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent
