Engineers on this team work in all phases of the software development lifecycle . Position Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions - Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment - Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python - Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality - Analyze problem reports and troubleshooting software defects - Develop leadership skills and experience - Opportunity to work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): - 3 years of experience in r eal-time embedded software development - 3 years of e xperience in developing software using Object Oriented principles - 3 years of e xperience working in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent experience strongly preferred - Active U.S. secret clearance - Experience with Ada, Python, or C# - Experience working in an Agile software development environment - Experience with Git or a similar version control system - Experience developing and tracing software requirements Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
