Technical Analyst – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Job Description
Location: 95% remote, with occasional onsite work at 1 North Old
State Capital Plaza, Springfield, IL. Expect a few onsite days per
month based on project needs. Position Overview: We are seeking a
Technical Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to
support the analysis, configuration, and optimization of the
platform. As a Technical Analyst, you will work closely with
business and development teams to ensure the platform aligns with
business needs, troubleshoot issues, and assist in implementing
enhancements to improve functionality and performance. This
position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a
good understanding of Dynamics 365, who enjoys problem-solving and
working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
Analyzing business needs and translating them into technical
requirements. Collaborating with stakeholders to define workflows,
processes, and user stories. Working closely with developers to
ensure that the implemented solutions align with business
requirements. Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and training
end-users. Job Responsibilities: Analyze and troubleshoot technical
issues within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, providing timely
solutions to maintain system performance and reliability. Assist in
configuring and optimizing Dynamics 365 to meet business
requirements, working closely with both technical and business
stakeholders. Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements,
ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
Collaborate with development teams to analyze technical needs,
design solutions, and implement system improvements. Assist with
data analysis, integration, and reporting within Dynamics 365,
providing insights to support business decisions. Ensure compliance
with security standards and best practices, such as HIPAA and GDPR,
by implementing appropriate controls. Maintain accurate
documentation of technical configurations, workflows, and
processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-5 years of
experience in a technical analysis role, preferably with a focus on
Microsoft Dynamics 365. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365
configuration, customization, and integration. Experience with
cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, and managing
resources such as databases and virtual machines. Problem-solving
skills with experience troubleshooting performance and system
issues. Familiarity with automation tools like PowerShell or Azure
CLI for system management and optimization. Good communication and
collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including
developers, IT, and business users. Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365
Fundamentals or similar. Experience with data analysis tools like
Power BI for reporting and insights. Familiarity with compliance
standards such as HIPAA and GDPR in a cloud environment. Why Join
