We are seeking a compassionate and patient focused individual to join our Service Operations team! NO weekends, NO call and off major holidays! You will be responsible for being a patient advocate as we help patients navigate the many challenges they face on their journey towards healing. You will be on the front lines of supporting customers by helping navigate Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payor benefits and medical necessity requirements to successfully ship and bill for wound supply orders for patients in need.

  • Complete review of medical records
  • Follow a comprehensive regulatory compliance program
  • Develops and maintains strong knowledge of evolving products and services
  • Interacts with customers by phone, fax and email, and responds expeditiously
  • Provides information about products and services, and answers questions
  • Researches related issues, and resolves customer concerns and complaints
  • Documents and updates customer records based on interactions
  • Contacts insurance companies to obtain patient benefits information
  • Contacts providers to obtain necessary information to submit orders and file insurance claims
  • Maintains a thorough and current comprehension of products, procedures, and protocols
  • Completes related data entry
  • Performs other administrative duties as assignedQualifications:
    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related field a plus
    • Experience in a BUSY office setting dealing with customers in a fast paced environment, preferably medical office
    • Ability to quickly build rapport with clients, as well as work with internal and external team members
    • Ability to confidently make decisions based on knowledge of the position protocols, industry standards and guidelines
    • High level of attention to detail, efficient and accurate; ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
    • Must present a courteous and professional demeanor on the phone and while engaging with customers online, excellent written and verbal communication skills
