Best Friends Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is an AAHA accredited & Fear Free principled practice in the St. Louis metro area. -Privately owned, we currently have 3 full time doctors but we are rapidly growing. - We're looking for a full time associate veterinarian to join our wonderful team. We are fortunate to have clients that allow us to work up most of our patients quite thoroughly, but we are also blessed with a local specialty center that we can also refer to. -Many of our nurses are certified and we encourage continuing education for our entire team. - -Because we value work life balance we have modest hours, do not see after hours emergencies, and are open only a - day on Saturday. -We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while offering excellent patient care and maintaining a positive working environment. Our modern 5,000 square foot small animal practice is equipped with digital records, new Idexx lab equipment, digital dentistry, therapeutic laser and a single table surgical suite. - -The ideal candidate would have an interest in surgery and excellent communication skills with a commitment to practice high quality medicine. -An interest in exotics is ideal, but not necessary. - - -Salary will be production based with a guaranteed base commensurate with experience. - We will offer a signing bonus, medical benefits, an allowance for CE, paid time off, with dues, licensures & a VIN membership paid. - The following skills are a prerequisite for the position: excellent communication skills, the ability and desire to practice quality medicine and an interest in surgery.
