As a MedSurg RN, you will be responsible for managing the care of adult patients experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures, which require complex assessments, high intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify their care requirements. Administer medication and monitor patient recovery and side effects. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment regimes, disease prevention, and wellness. Implement nursing care plans and effectively document the patient's progress. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Strong expertise in MedSurg or acute care settings. Proficient in using medical software for patient management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri. BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred.
