Florissant, Missouri, 63031! Job Title: Registered Nurse

License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS,
NIH, PALS Must-Have: Pediatric emergency department experience
preferred. Experience in general emergency department with both
pediatric and adult patients. Ability to interpret and manage
dysrhythmias. Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural
sedation administration/monitoring. Competence in care of
ventilated patients. Triage experience preferred. Description: This
position is for a registered nurse in the emergency room working
night shifts. The emergency department serves both pediatric and
adult populations. Travelers must be comfortable caring for both
demographics. Ratios in the unit are 1:4. The role requires every
third weekend availability. Candidates must hold current
certifications in ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS. Floating within the
service line is not required. Local candidates within a 75-mile
radius are not accepted. Pending licenses may be accepted. A
glucostabilizer is a special requirement for this position. The
facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed
beds. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults,
pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census in the emergency
department ranges from 120 to 160 patients. The department sees a
variety of chief complaints, including abdominal pain, chest pain,
stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries. Candidates should be
