Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - MICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in the Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit /n• 13-week assignment with 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be specified on submission) /n• Weekend hours as required by facility, every other weekend /n• No call requirements /n• Patient ratio of 1:2 in a 22-bed unit /n• May be floated to other stepdown units based on staffing needs /n• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation /n• Required licensure: Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS /n• Preferred certification: TNCC /n• 3 years Cardiac and/or Medical ICU experience required, inpatient only /n• CVI experience recovering open hearts directly from OR preferred /n• Work with equipment including Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun /n• EMR system: EPIC /n• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions, post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, and suicidal ideations /n• Dress code: Black scrubs only, no hats, non-facility jackets/sweatshirts, or air pods /n• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, significant bending/stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, earning a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
