Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a
Telemetry position at an acute care Magnet hospital in Belleville,
IL, requiring cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and Epic
proficiency. Details - Night shift position working 3x12-hour
shifts per week (18:45–07:15) - High-risk cardiac telemetry unit
within a 40-bed unit / 222-bed acute care Magnet hospital - Patient
ratio of 1:5–6 - Cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and central
line management are performed on this unit - Epic EMR experience
required - Every other weekend required - Floating required to all
inpatient units at both campuses - No on-call requirements - Block
scheduling is not available Requirements - Active IL RN license
required; pending IL license may be acceptable at time of
consideration — please note pending status when applying - Active
MO RN license required at time of consideration - Current BLS and
ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of RN experience
required - Telemetry and high-risk cardiac nursing experience
required - Proficiency with Epic EMR required - Candidates must
reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information - First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy scrubs required - Free parking available - RTO is limited to
no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first
week of orientation - Travelers may remain at this health system
for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is
required - Former permanent employees of this health system must
wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Completion of
orientation modules required prior to or at the start of the
