About Med Surg 5E Med Surg 5E cares for adult medical patients with a wide variety of diagnoses including: * Small bowel obstructions * Respiratory infections * Pneumonia * Cellulitis * Diverticulitis This unit offers an ideal learning environment for new graduate nurses to: ? Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: * Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) * Nursing Diploma * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure * Active Missouri RN license or compact license (required) Certification * Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (may be obtained within 30 days of hire) ? Preferred Qualifications * BSN preferred * Prior healthcare or clinical experience welcomed but not required for new graduates * Interest in medical-surgical nursing and professional growth Physical Requirements * Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs * Prolonged standing and walking * Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and squat as required for patient care ??
