As an RN in our Transplant department, you will be directly involved in the pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing transplant procedures. This position requires advanced clinical knowledge, communication skills, and the compassion to assist patients and their families during challenging times. Working closely with transplant surgeons and specialists, you will be a pivotal member of a team committed to life-changing medical care. Assess, monitor, and care for patients before and after transplant surgery Administer medications and treatments, and monitor responses Collaborate with transplant teams to implement comprehensive care plans Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and necessary lifestyle changes Participate in research and continuous improvement efforts within the transplant department Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Advanced clinical skills in a surgical setting Excellent patient assessment skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Experience with electronic health record systems Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with compassion and professionalism Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of practice Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred
