Job Description:
SSM Health is currently seeking a dedicated RN-Charge Nurse for
our state-of-the-art Cath Lab/Interventional unit. As a respected
member of our faith-based health system, you will lead a team of
nursing professionals in delivering exceptional cardiovascular
care. Your expertise will guide interventions, manage complex
patient cases, and contribute to the procedural success in a
high-stakes environment. This role demands a commitment to
enhancing patient outcomes through innovative treatments and
compassionate care tailored to individual health needs. Coordinate
and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by
the clinical staff. Develop and implement policies and procedures
that ensure quality patient care and efficient operation of the
cath lab. Manage staffing and scheduling, ensuring optimal
coverage. Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory
requirements, including JCAHO, state health department, and federal
agencies. Evaluate patient care data and adjust care plans
accordingly. Maintain a collaborative work environment and
communicate effectively with other departments to enhance patient
care. Proficient in cardiac care and interventional procedures
Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work under
pressure in fast-paced environments Excellent organizational and
communication skills Knowledge of regulatory standards related to
catheterization laboratories Medical Insurance Dental Insurance

license BLS/ACLS certification Certification in Cardiac-Vascular
Nursing or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
