Job Description:
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN-Abdominal
Transplant to join our compassionate team within our Catholic,
not-for-profit health system. This role is imperative in offering
specialized nursing care to patients before and after abdominal
transplant surgeries. As an RN in this field, you will work closely
with transplant surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare
professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous care tailored
to the unique needs of transplant patients. Our integrated health
care delivery system ensures that you have access to the resources
and support necessary for effective patient care across the
Midwest. Assess, plan, and administer nursing care to abdominal
transplant patients Coordinate with healthcare teams to prepare for
surgical procedures and manage recovery processes Monitor patient
progress and adjust care plans accordingly Educate patients and
their families on transplant procedures, post-surgical care,
medications, and lifestyle adjustments Participate in research and
continuous education related to abdominal transplantation Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Proficiency in
managing pre- and post-operative care Strong ability to work
collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams Excellent patient
assessment skills High competence in critical thinking and
problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse (CCTN)
