Job Description:

SSM Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality care and embodying our commitment to serving the health needs of our community. You will operate sophisticated radiographic equipment, collaborate with radiologists to determine suitable radiographic techniques, and maintain patient safety and confidentiality. Operate and maintain all radiographic equipment. Prepare patients for radiological procedures and ensure their comfort. Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations involving the use of radiation. Adjust radiographic equipment parameters, positioning patients as necessary to achieve optimal results. Maintain records of diagnostic procedures as required by hospital policy. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Implement radiation protection and safety standards. Proficiency with radiographic equipment. Ability to ensure patient comfort and safety. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and precise following of protocol. Medical Insurance Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state licensure as required.
