Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/08/2026 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours weekly /n• Rotating call schedule 2-3 days per week including weekends /n• 16-week assignment length /n• Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients resulting in diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation /n• Work in Interventional Radiology department, also serving ER/OP /n• Handle all types of patients including vented patients and anesthesia cases /n• Required to wear black scrubs (top, bottoms, jacket) /n• Work with GE 1.5 and GE 3T MRI equipment using Visage PACS system /n• Use EPIC EMR system /n• Must have ARRT registration upon hire and obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year /n• BLS and R.R.A. certifications required /n• MRI Registry certification preferred /n• 2 years experience required with pediatric radiology/imaging experience /n• Physical demands include push/pull up to 46 lbs, carrying 25 lbs, frequent hand coordination /n• Evening shift orients on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation /n• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
