Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Overview The Medical
Technologist analyzes and report lab values as part of the
interdisciplinary care of our patients. Diagnostic procedures
performed may include chemistry, microbiology, hemostasis,
hematology, blood banking, urinalysis and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities Provides oversight over technical lab operations
Reviews patient results as well as related records such as quality
control and instrument correlations Analyzes and reports all lab
tests requested on patients Note: This is not an all-inclusive list
of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to
perform other related duties and participate in special projects as
assigned. Qualifications Required: Bachelor of Medical Technology,
CLS or Science 1 year Clinical Laboratory required, new grads
accepted MLT (ASCP), CLS or Equivalent certification Med. Tech
license in state of practice
