Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience:
2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required License: Valid
State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have:
Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience and skills in ICU, ventilator
management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter
management, pacemakers, impellas, balloon pumps, and LVADs.
Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac
Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years
of experience in Cardiac or CVICU. Experience with ventilator
management, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters is
required. The candidate should also have knowledge of pacemakers,
impellas, balloon pumps, and LVAD management. Skills in managing
acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post-cardiac
arrest, complete heart block, and cardiogenic shock are essential.
The candidate must be proficient in the administration and
monitoring of vasoactive drips, central lines, and PA/TVP catheter
management. Current CPR and ACLS certifications are mandatory. This
position requires the RN to float within the service line as
needed. All candidates must pass a Relias EKG exam before
commencing the role. The ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:2
during shifts is expected. Working every other weekend is required.
The RN will manage patients diagnosed with various cardiac
conditions and will be supported by interdisciplinary services.
