working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Saint
Louis, Missouri, 63110! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required;
will consider 1 year if from a Level 1 trauma facility. License:
Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS
required. Must-Have: Scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and
vascular procedures is required. Experience circulating in the OR
is required. Heart and lung transplant experience is needed for
night shift. Description: The position involves working in a
fast-paced surgical environment. You will participate in cardiac
and thoracic cases primarily, as well as vascular procedures.
Transplant surgeries, including liver, kidney, and pancreas, are
also part of the role. You will need to have extensive knowledge of
scrub functions and responsibilities. You will be expected to float
within the service line to meet facility needs. As needed, you may
be required to be on-call for weekday and weekend shifts. You will
need to enter missing instruments into the tracking system. You
must have the ability to set up and be ready within 40 minutes for
emergency cases. You will be responsible for maintaining patient
safety and care standards. All staff are expected to be proactive
in a high-volume surgical setting. This role requires strong
teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates
must be able to respond to urgent emergent cases effectively.
Ability to accommodate varying start times and call shifts is
essential. A BSN is preferred, although not mandatory. 5 Benefits
