ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week assignment length • Patient ratio of 1:4 on an 8-bed unit • May float to other same level or lower level care units as needed • Weekend hours only if needs arise with advance notification • No call requirements • 2 years of Cardiac Stepdown, Pre/Post Cardiac Care, and Cardiac Telemetry experience required • Inpatient experience only • Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure required • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only • Work with telemetry equipment, glucometer, and hemochron • Electronic medical record system: EPIC • Care for post cardiac procedural patients, STEMI patients, and some med/tele overflow • Experience with TR bands and pulling sheaths preferred • Must wear all black scrubs with facility logo on top • Prohibited attire includes hoodies, jackets without logo, t-shirts, open toed shoes, earbuds, and fake nails • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1 • Teamwork and flexibility personality fit essential Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized 8-bed Heart & Vascular Recovery unit that provides care for critically ill patients before and after cardiac interventions.
