Job Description:

Palliative Care. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Director of Palliative Care – RN to join our team. This role
reports directly to the VP of Palliative Care and is responsible
for the overall clinical and financial operations of the Palliative
Care Program. The Director ensures high standards of patient care,
compliance with regulatory requirements, and operational and
financial success while leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee all clinical and financial
operations of the Palliative Care Program. - Establish, implement,
and evaluate goals and objectives that support quality patient care
and sound financial performance. - Meet and exceed growth and
development targets at the branch level. - Manage program
expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner within budget
guidelines. - Recruit, employ, and oversee qualified palliative
care staff, ensuring effective delegation, supervision, and
evaluation. - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations,
Medicare guidelines, and company policies. - Foster collaboration
with Nurse Practitioners, Medical Directors, and interdisciplinary
teams to deliver seamless patient-centered care. - Represent and
promote palliative care services in the community to drive growth,
engagement, and awareness. - Coordinate quality assurance and
performance improvement initiatives with data collection and
reporting. Essential Clinical Functions (RN) - Provide skilled
nursing care in collaboration with NP/MD as needed. - Assess
patients’ symptoms and provide education and support to families
and caregivers. - Participate in on-call services and ensure
responsive, clinically competent patient care. - Maintain expertise
in pain and symptom management, documenting all care accurately in
the EMR. About You: Qualifications - Registered Nurse with prior
Home Health, Hospice, and/or Palliative Care experience. -
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or related
field (required). - Master’s degree in Business or related field
(preferred). - Minimum of 2 years of healthcare
administration/operations management. - CHPN (Certified Hospice and
Palliative Nurse) certification preferred. - Prior budget
development and financial management experience required. - Strong
understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing
and reimbursement. Skills and Competencies - Proven leadership and
team management skills. - Excellent organizational, communication,
and problem-solving abilities. - Strong knowledge of
patient-centered care delivery and engagement models. - Proficiency
with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems, and mobile technology. -
Ability to travel as needed, with reliable transportation, valid
