Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,282 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: PCU experience preferred; strong Med/Surg/Telemetry background considered Description: This position is for a blended Med/Surg and Telemetry unit. Primary service lines include thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, urology, general surgery, and general medicine. Ratios are 1:5 for Med/Surg/Telemetry patients and 1:3 for PCU patients. Travelers will not be assigned PCU patients during their contract. The unit is a backup for trauma and stroke services. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Travelers must have experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry. This is a mixed acuity unit. Special equipment is utilized. Travelers should complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to starting. Travelers must be clean-shaven for FIT testing. All clinicians cannot work past one year as a traveler. A six-month break is required to return as a traveler.
