Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63110! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Description: The position involves providing excellent care to
patients on the medical surgical unit. Candidates must have strong
documentation skills. Teamwork is essential in this role. IV skills
and phlebotomy are prerequisites. The nurse will care for patients
with diagnoses including ostomy, colon resection, colon cancer,
bladder cancer, and general medical overflow. The nurse will work
with a patient ratio of 1:4-6. Orientation will include training in
EKG interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The unit
administers various drips such as Heparin, Lidocaine, Bicarb, and
Amiodarone. Knowledge of telehealth and remote monitoring is
preferred. Candidates should be familiar with special procedures
like continuous bladder irrigation and protocols for colorectal
patients. Daily census on the unit averages around 32 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must have
proficient skills in critical areas including blood product
administration, central line blood draw, and PICC line management.
