Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Belleville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,144 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH required; CPI, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Experience with insertion of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, intubations, and management of trauma patients. - Ability to provide care for a diverse patient population including pediatrics and adults. - Familiarity with rapid infuser and bedside cardiac monitoring equipment. Description: Emergency Room Nursing position available for night shifts. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Ratios are 1 nurse to 3 patients. Every other weekend availability is required. Mandatory certifications include ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and NIH. Preferred certifications include CPI and TNCC. Candidates may float to other units as necessary based on facility needs. Responsibilities include managing high-acuity patients, trauma, mental health, and pediatric cases. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role. Candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of nursing in an emergency room environment. Completion of all compliance requirements prior to starting is mandatory.
