Belleville provides a welcoming Midwest community, affordable living, and easy access to St. Louis, making it a top destination for Illinois travel nursing jobs./n /n/nTelemetry RN Job Details/n /n - Location: Belleville, IL 62226 (Greater St. Louis area)/n - Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Telemetry/Cardiology Unit/n - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential extension/n - Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Patient Ratio: 1:5-6/n - Charting System: EPIC/n - Scrub Color: Navy/n - Parking: Free on-site parking/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1960–$2010/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required/n - Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or high-acuity cardiac nursing experience/n - Current ACLS and BLS certifications/n - Proficiency with cardiac drips (no titration), sheath pulls, and central line management/n - EPIC electronic health record experience required/n - Ability to float to all inpatient units at Belleville and Shiloh campuses/n - Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility/n - Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n /n/nTelemetry RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a high-risk cardiology telemetry unit/n - Monitor and manage cardiac drips, perform sheath pulls, and oversee central line care/n - Care for post-TAVR, post-CABG, post-VATS, and other complex cardiac patients/n - Conduct bedside shift reports and perform hourly rounding/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)/n - Float to other inpatient units as needed within scope of practice/n - Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC/n /n Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse in Belleville, IL, and make a difference in cardiac patient care!
