Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week assignment length • 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours (must be specified on submission) • Weekend hours required every other weekend as needed • No call requirements • Patient ratios of 1:5/6 on a 60-bed medical unit • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed • 1 year of medical surgical inpatient experience required • Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure required • BLS from AHA required • ACLS from AHA preferred • EMR system: EPIC • Equipment includes bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs • Dress code requires black scrubs only • Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments • Must demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and flexibility • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1 Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
