Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Rehab position in a skilled nursing and LTC environment requiring an active IL RN license and IV certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in skilled nursing and rehab units within a LTC facility - Serve a patient population similar to Med-Surg, including dementia and surgical patients - Provide direct care for up to 20 residents with an average daily census of 72 - Night shift with 3x12 hour shifts, schedule negotiable but must include some weekends - Required to be open to day shift changes during the contract if needed - No on-call responsibilities - Uses PowerChart EMR - Special equipment includes lifting devices - Responsible for administration of IV medications and wound care - Work closely with CNAs/HCAs as part of the care team - First-time travelers are accepted - Attire consists of any shade of blue scrubs - Up to 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO approved after offer or during orientation week - Cannot take every holiday off - Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility - Free parking is available - Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler /n /n Requirements/n - Active IL RN license required at time of consideration - At least 1 year of experience in LTC, skilled nursing, assisted living, or Med-Surg required - IV certification required before starting - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Dementia training or experience highly recommended - EPIC charting experience required for certain units - Excellent customer service skills required - Proof of license must be provided /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-627578.
