Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience
with preoperative and postoperative care of surgical patients Phase
II recovery experience required Ambulatory/outpatient experience
required Description: Provide care to surgical patients in
preoperative and Phase II postoperative settings. Work shifts of
10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating days off.
Patient to nurse ratios are 1:4 during days. Must be able to float
within scope to meet facility needs. Experience with outpatient,
cath lab, and radiology patients is necessary. Responsibilities
include airway assessment, medication reconciliation, pain
assessment and management, and discharge instructions. Charting
will be done in EPIC. No weekend coverage or on-call duties are
required. Flexibility to meet varying patient needs in a fast-paced
environment required. Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
patient age groups will be cared for. The average daily census is
25 patients.
