Job Description:
Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT Tech
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience required License: Active
state license required for this role (or must be in application
process). Certifications: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS required. Must-Have: -
Required work setting experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult
Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma. - Required
abdomen and pelvis CT skills/experience: Abdomen without and/or
with contrast, pelvis without and/or with contrast. - Required
chest CT skills/experience: Chest without and/or with contrast,
vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta). - Required
head and neck CT skills/experience: Carotid, head without and/or
with contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head. - Required
image display and post-processing skills/experience: 3D rendering
(maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume
rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), region of interest
measurement (ROI). - Required professional knowledge and skills:
Isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of
contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs,
venipuncture. - Required special procedure skills/experience:
Coronary CTA. - Required spine and musculoskeletal CT
skills/experience: Cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma,
thoracic. Description: CT Tech position available for 4x10 evening
shifts. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience in CT are
preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates are
required to work every other weekend. On-call and holiday duties
are required. Candidates will not float outside their scope to meet
facility needs. Schedule requests should be discussed with
management. This role accepts local candidates with no radius
restrictions. Discuss time-off requests with management. The client
may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without
payment for the canceled hours. If candidates are placed on-call
instead of being called off, it will count as a called-off shift.
Special requirements include experience in adult acute care and
various CT skills. The candidate needs to have proficiency in
specific imaging skills and professional knowledge relevant to
radiology practice. Floating within the facility is required.
Completion of all compliance needs in a timely manner is essential.
The candidate must adhere to all responsibilities associated with
the role during the full assignment duration.
