Memorial Hosptial Belleville Full Time Overview BJC Home Care
offers patients and their families a complete range of home care
services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric
hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion
therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and
high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are
available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes,
orthopedic and wound care programs. BJC Home Care provides care to
thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more
than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in
the region and one of the largest in the country. Preferred
Qualifications Role Purpose Utilizes a high degree of knowledge,
skill and competence in a specialized patient care area. Assesses,
diagnose, prescribes, initiates plan of care and evaluates outcomes
within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with
physician(s). Responsibilities Participates in professional
development Manages the health care of patient populations with
compassion through advanced health assessment, diagnosis,
intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement
with a physician. Prescriptive responsibilities are reviewed by
collaborative physician. Coordinates the care of patient
populations, in a collaborative practice agreement with a
physician, to ensure promotion of health and wellness through
education of patients and families, coordination of services and
placing referrals. Assesses development needs of staff and develops
and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
Develops treatment plans, treats patients with acute problems
including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined
protocol in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
Minimum Requirements Education Master's Degree - Nursing(Accredited
NP Program) Experience Supervisor Experience No Experience Licenses
& Certifications Valid Driver's License Nurse Practitioner RN
Preferred Requirements Education Doctorate - Nursing Experience 2-5
