Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Scrub experience for
cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures Circulate experience
required Experience with cardiac and thoracic cases, vascular
procedures, and transplants Willingness to float within service
line Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience
in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Scrub experience for cardiac,
thoracic, and vascular procedures is required. Circulate experience
is also necessary. Candidates must have 2 years of experience;
applicants with 1 year of experience from a Level 1 trauma facility
may be considered. BLS certification is required for this position.
Candidates must be comfortable floating within the service line to
meet facility needs. The role involves primarily cardiac and
thoracic cases as well as vascular procedures, including both open
and endovascular techniques. Transplant experience with liver,
kidney, and pancreas is preferred. Experience with Whipple
procedures is also advantageous. This position will follow a night
shift schedule. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends as
required by call policy. Full orientation will be provided, and
adherence to schedule is necessary. Please note that compliance
with facility policies is expected. All candidates must be able to
demonstrate flexibility and teamwork.
