Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, EPIC Must-Have: Experience in pre and post recovery of GI patients. Procedure monitoring experience is a must. Ability to start IVs and recover monitored anesthesia care sedation. Description: The role involves prep and recovery in a GI lab. This position will focus on phase 2 recovery and pre-operative care. Candidates with PACU and ED experience will be successful. Some GI knowledge is preferred to provide patient education. The average daily census is around 60 patients per day. No call, weekends, or holidays are required. Candidates will float within the service line. Prior experience in out-patient endoscopy centers is preferred. Travelers must comply with RTO guidelines and provide accurate availability during submission.
