TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified RNFA RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226 Pay Information $3,164 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: RNFA Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15); Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours Experience: Acute inpatient OR/Outpatient OR/Surgery Cases/Vascular experience required License: Valid state license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, RNFA required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience, certified RNFA Job Description: - Position involves working 10 and/or 12-hour shifts depending on department needs, with regular call. - 4x10s from 06:45-17:15 and 3x12s from 06:45-19:15. - Role includes being on call 1-2 times per week, 17:00-06:30 on weekdays; 06:30-06:30 on Saturday or Sunday. - May occasionally float to nearby campuses. - Must complete the privileging process before starting on the unit. This process takes approximately 2-3 months. - Required skills include surgical first assistant skills, aseptic technique, instrument processing, isolation precautions, laser safety, and sterilization/disinfection. - Worked specialties are Ortho, Urology, Thoracic, General, Vascular, ENT, GYN, Colorectal, and Neuro Spine with a high volume in Ortho, Urology, Thoracic, General & Vascular cases. - Must be willing to cover weekends via call shifts. - Required to be part of a magnet-status acute care hospital with 222 staffed beds. - Compliance with the hospital's vaccination requirements is necessary. - Travelers must abide by the fit testing requirement, allowing for proper testing if facial hair is present. - Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, strongly encouraged. - Must have recent supervisory references for specific units. - All travelers will float within the service line as needed. - EPIC charting system experience is required, with specific experience needed for certain units. - Specific background policy must be adhered to, including no acceptance of medical marijuana cards. - License compliance deadlines apply for those who completed their RN degrees outside of the relevant states. - A return as a traveler is permitted after a 1-year break for permanent employees, with specific timeframes for traveler contracts. Orientation will include 40 hours.
