TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required License: Valid State License required before submission. Must have a license in hand for Illinois. Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - Every other weekend availability Job Description: - Work in a telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5-6. - Assist with bedside procedures such as line insertion and thoracentesis. - Administer cardiac drips as required. - Open to first-time telemetry nurses. - Comply with flu vaccine policy; medical/religious exemptions allowed. - Adhere to compliance deadlines and submittals. - Ensure no RTO (request time off) during the first week of assignment and limit RTO to no more than seven days per 13-week contract. - Float within service line or to affiliate hospitals as needed. - Complete orientation consisting of 40 hours. - Follow fit-testing requirements for travelers regarding facial hair. - Return policy for permanent employees requires a one-year gap before returning as a traveler.
