high-quality health services. As a -Medical Coder, you will assign
the diagnosis and procedure codes through utilization of ICD-10-CM
for diagnoses and CPT/HCPCS for medical/surgical procedures.
Abstract data from the medical record and enters it into the
hospital information abstracting system Delivering quality care
starts with ensuring our processes and documentation standards are
being met and kept at the highest level possible. This means
working behind the scenes ensuring a member-centric approach to
care. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of
clinical coding in various departments. The purpose of this
position is to apply the appropriate diagnostic and procedural
codes to individual patient health information records for data
retrieval, analysis and claims processing.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within
the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. -
Schedule: - -Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday with set hours
as established between manager and coder; may require weekend
and/or holiday coverage to meet business needs as well as the
possibility of mandatory overtime.

is based on several factors including but not limited to education,
