Experienced Structural Analysis Engineers to join the 777X
Structural Analysis team in Berkeley, MO.The 777X program is
working to complete certification deliverables for 777-9 and 777-8
Freighter as well as supporting rate production (on-site).Position
Responsibilities:- Assessing defects in composite structure,
interrogating the analysis for structural margin impacts and
documenting the results- Coordinate with other engineering groups
to establish the product's environment- Verifies structural
integrity by using analytical methods and other analysis tools
throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural
environment, characteristics and performance- Define and document
certification and test results to substantiate for customers and
regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied- Support
in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing
improvements- Works under general directionThis position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The position must meet Export Control
compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22
C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful
permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of related work experiencePreferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Commercial airplanes structural analysis experience
- Boeing analysis tools (Common Structures Workstation, IAS,
CATIA and ENOVIA)
- Experience with composites/composite
