Job Description Job Description SouthSide Early Childhood Center is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Infant Teacher to join our early learning team. Position Overview: The Assistant Infant Teacher partners with the Lead Teacher to create a loving, responsive, and developmentally rich environment for infants. This role supports infants' growth through consistent care, meaningful interactions, and play-based experiences that foster trust, curiosity, and early development. Responsibilities Include: Providing daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, napping, and comforting Supporting sensory-rich, developmentally appropriate activities Observing and responding to infants' individual cues and needs using the Conscious Discipline Curriculum Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets licensing and accreditation standards Building positive, secure relationships with infants, families, and team members in the classroom and through home visits Communicating regularly with families about care and development Consistently following all state licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications: Experience working with infants CDA or associate's degree in early childhood or related (required) Patience, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented attitude Strong communication and classroom support skills Ability to meet background check and health requirements
