organization. BR&T's Product Analysis and Teardown team is
seeking a highly motivated Electronics/Electrical Teardown Engineer
to support Teardown, Reverse Engineering, and Comparative Analysis
activities in Berkeley, MO.The right candidate will be mechanically
adept and hands-on with a willingness and ability to learn and grow
in the role. This team has an exciting and important role in the
company, transforming the way we engage with suppliers and how we
design our aircraft. The St. Louis Teardown Lab primarily supports
BDS with physical teardown, design recovery, cost modeling, and
comparative analysis. The information and partner integration
derived from these activities drives supply chain optimal cost and
benchmarks/comparisons for new airplane design. Come be a part of

for a broad range of experience levels including associate and
mid-level engineers.Position Responsibilities:
- Lead/participate in physical part teardown, analysis, and cost
modeling
- Performs analyses and provides insights into Design choices
impacting areas such as affordability, safety, reliability,
maintainability, and producibility on a product, then translates
those insights into information Programs can use for design
considerations
- Works with customers to document and/or define complex
electronic and electrical system requirements, utilizing discovered
data to drive conversation
- Analyzes and translates requirements into component and
manufacture selections for optimal cost / performance and hardware
selection based on program requirements
- Transitions knowledge and provides concise follow-on support to
key stakeholders including Program Management, Engineering, and
Supplier Management to ensure deliverables can be leveraged to
fullest extent
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to support
in the planning, design, development, and verification a lifecycle
balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Performs various analyses to optimize systems and/or system
architectureThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.
Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S.
Citizenship.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The
selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed
location.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience in the design, development, test, or
manufacturing of electronic systems
- Experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an
organization
- Flexibility to support international team membersPreferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in the design, development, integration,
test, or validation of electrical systems
- ABET accredited course of study in electrical engineering or
electrical engineering technology
- Experience with optimal cost and how it enables programs to
meet their affordability goals
- Experience with comparative analysis / trade studies
- Experience with planning, leading, and overseeing multiple
projects and meet associated deliverable deadlines within assigned
budgetTypical Education/Experience: -Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although
not required, accreditation standard.Mid-Level (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a
