Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n CT Technologist - CT Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work evening shift, 5x8 schedule /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• 13-week assignment length /n• Every weekend required /n• No call requirements /n• 3 years of experience required /n• Float requirements as needed by facility /n• Support all patient areas including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room /n• Provide diagnostic CT scans for radiologist interpretation /n• Assist with interventional and special procedures including biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrogtraphy /n• Apply principles of radiation safety /n• Organize daily schedule and serve as dedicated resource to CT team /n• Work with GE equipment and EPIC EMR system /n• Required certifications: CT Registry and BLS (from AHA only) /n• Dress code: Black scrubs required /n• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation /n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1 /n• Must be able to adapt and work well with multiple people simultaneously /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has served the South County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
